I`m planning on converting my old Trex 600N to FBL but I don`t know which head to use. Can someone recommend a good head and also specify what other parts I need in order to use this head.
There's two heads I would use, either the older Align 3G head, or the new DFC 600n head, the old 3G head works well and works of the original main shaft the dfc needs it's own lowers main shaft

I have the old 3G Head, but replaced it with a chunky KDE upgrade (fwiw) - works well.
To complicate matters, it needed the FL main shaft (shorter than the normal main shaft, but different to the DFC shaft).
You will need to use their feathering shaft. But your main shaft and swash will be fine. I have just converted mine to the DFC head and it works great.
If you go for the align head you need the new type swash if you have the old green type. With the Fbl main shaft which is 10mm shorter you need the 700e blade to swash links

shorter main now available I went with align dfc conversion kit and arms, used old swash until they released the dfc swash high costs but it transformed my 600n
now it lives in the boot and flown in preference to my 550 good luck with yours which ever way you go it's well worth the effort
