Only had ten flights with the 600 but i'm loving this machine. I can't fly 3d and wanted something bigger than my Align 500 and hoped for long flight times running 12s with the batteries I had.
My setup is standard except;
105 tails
taller rear skid
magnetic canopy catches (brilliant)
Li-Fe rx battery
Turnigy 3000, 20c batteries
Running the Castle governor I tried 1800, 2000 and 2100rpm, I know this is not what it was designed to run at but it has proved plenty for my current flying style.
Ran 5 packs at 1800 HS today and managed to stretch the time out to 7 minutes coming down with 27% of the pack left.
I also conducted my first ever travelling flips and inverted hovering (at height) which I just didn't even try with the 500.
The 3gx (v1.2) is pitching up in forward flight and generally rearing backwards which I beleive is not uncommon. It's settings are untouched from the factory.
Very happy with this setup and looks like the 500 is looking for a new home soon.
