    Buy more batteries! Lol...

Have you tried a governed 2350? It holds well but doesn't waste quite so much energy flinging the blades around at high speed... If found after getting the rail R-96 tail blades that I got the same holding down to around 2200-2250 as compared to 2350 on the stock blades.

I suggest giving it a go - try 2350 governed with the stock blades and if that works for you, perhaps try the r-96 and dropping it to 2250-2300.

I've seen several reports of poor meshing when you change the gear ratio. It would be nice if KDE or someone came out with a kit designed for it.

Don't do the gear mod. The mesh is not so good. I had mine strip in mid flight and caught it in time to bring her down safely. I'm using 105's with stick mains and I also have the DFC head on.

I have about 5mm or more of clearance.

How are you measuring that clearence?

You have to force the blades toward each other (this is what happens in high G moves) I guarentee that your mains will touch your tails - especially with the dfc. On the other hand if you dont do any moves that cause that kind of force, you will be fine.

Im giving mine 1 more go stretched with a 700 tail and if it fails me again its getting sold!

It's measured with the head sitting on top of the bearing block without the shaft connected.

I do mild 3d. I mean, I'm not pro or anything, but no noob.

Well all Im saying is be carful because as soon as you do a hard stop or anything that flexes the blades toward the boom - they will catch each other. Just trying to help.
