I got short 700e balls on my inner swash on the 600efl and get 86 so it should be good,i know a few 550 pilots who only get 72-74 and they say their machines fly great

VBControl, but not the gay white version as i'm simply not gay enough to pull it off!
I really like the design of this head, but i dont like the fact tht when the feathering shaft flaps up and down it puts stress on the pitch link bolts!! I must say i prefure the fbl heads with the swash driver built into the bottom of the head block!!!!
If there was a DFC head with NO dampening then i might consider getting one
I think the Same thing for the likes of the TDR.

Interestingly the 600 Pro already has a low stance on the head but obviously lower still if a DFC mast was fitted.
The 550 has quite a high head as stock and even with a dfc mast which obviously must allow the head to clear the anti rotation bracket, the blades are no closer than the stock fbl 600 Pro head and that does not suffer with strikes.
Factor this in with the fact the 550 is running the shorter blades 520mm i dont think striking is a risk in this application.
Have removed the old head from mine and prepared the V2 grips, when i fit the head tomorrow i will compare it and see where we stand.
could I not sell my current head for someone wanting to convert to FBL? or is there no market for this? with the 600 shaft wont I need to change the main bearings? as its 12mm shaft not the 550 10mm
