      Thats good then....theres been loads of posts regarding wagging issues with this gyro,can you try another one?

        Not without buying one.

        Do you have any advice on the metal cover on the control rod ?

          Not sure what advice you need,if its moving freely i wouldnt worry,on mine i put selotape round the boom under the clamp to reduce the fit.works fine.

            After removing the tail assembly I noticed that the torque tube (TT) was wobbling all over the place. I repositioned the TT to get the smoothest rotation but the umbrella gears are not centre, so positioned it with the min vibration. The TT bearing is square and smooth so I think this is not a issue

            Took her out this lunchtime and it has made a different. The slow wag has now gone but I do have a little tail bounce for a second or two after moving the rudder. This may be because it was windy or the play in the tail blade grips, not sure.



            Is the tail bounce common on 600 sized heli's ?

              Not 100% but if the DX8 is the same as DX7 0%-50% is rate mode 51%-100% is heading hold worth a try as I run mine around 68% mark on both 600 700 CJS
