600L Dominator motor mount Question

Im sure it fits but just checking that the universal motor mounts for the 600 Pro do fit the Dominator also.

Such as.

Lynx Heli Innovations T-Rex 600E Pro Adj Motor Mount LX0225

Just querying as the Dominator has the metal motor braces outside the frames and other possible differences maybe?

I used the KDE one on my old 600 EFL Pros to good effect.

Yeah, the Dominator and 600 Pro frames are identical, so it will fit fine.

You don't really need adjustment though, the mesh of the gears is fine and you cant (to the best of my knowledge) get suitable pinions in anything but the standard 14t, so no real need to adjust anything. If you can get alternative pinions I'd like to know as i could use lower gearing on mine.

I was thinking of using the 700 ones 12 or 13T

Lynx do an 11 also as well as 12 and 13

That's actually really interesting, i thought the standard was 13T for the 600 Dom. im running this one in my pro:

You could be right! The spec sheet on the 'performance booster' pack I got for my 600 Pro (which takes it to Dominator spec) said 14t pinion but the spare part listed for the Dominator says 13t, so I'm confused. I have to admit that I didn't actually count the teeth.

PS.. the Dominator manual says 14t, so on balance of evidence that seems to be what's fitted: http://www.align.com.tw/ManuaLib/Hel.../RH60E14XT.pdf. I'll count the teeth on mine tonight!


PPS.. I went ahead and got the Lynx mount for mine it's a nice piece of kit.
