    Hi Guy's

    A friend has just built a 600e hv dominator, thing is he does not have a bec, now does the castle esc power the gpro and servo's or does he need a bec. he say there is nothing in the align manual

    You need a became or a 2s lipo as it has HV servos. Just a simple power lead with at least 2 servo connectors will be fine.
    Oxy4+, tgy servos, hw60a, spirit fbl on 6s 🤓

      High voltage you can plug a 2s lipo straight into gpro or separate Bec if preferred

          I use this in all of mine
          Gryphon QUASAR Hyper 75V 20A HV Switching BEC GSR-7075 LMT you can wire it 6s or 12s if you want
          or a lot of people use this
          Castle BEC PRO Switching Regulator CSECCBECPRO

            Yea, it's designed for the Gpro/servos to run direct off a 2s LiPo, that's why there is nothing in the kit.

            I use a 2s LiPo direct on most of my HV setups but do use the Castle BEC Pro on one, and it works fine too. It does save the weight of a battery and the slight inconvenience of having to charge it. Arguably the BEC is slightly less reliable though, and it costs more than a small LiPo.
