After rebuilding my 700 after the boom slipped and the torque tube decided to disengage while inverted, I've noticed a problem with doing piro flips, the body seems to sort of lock into certain parts of the flip, its hard to describle its asif the flybar is hitting its limits and the tail seems to sort of pause aswell.
Its a bit worrying as it doesnt seem that far off causing an airborne boomstrike, prior to the tail failing it was fine, but quite a bit was damaged on the rotorhead, all the usual parts were replaced, mast, spindle, flybar, linkages etc (upgraded to the quickUK set)
I had wondered if it was just the flybar hitting the endstops, and maybe lighter paddles and less swash mix on the cyclic is the cure.
So, has anyone else had something like this?
