Spektrum Tx Lead

I have just changed my Tx from Futaba to Spektrum so now I need the JR/Spektrum lead for my dongle to replace the futaba square one.

I have seen various leads for sale on ebay and a few other places but are they all the same, I notice that some are advertised as being for the "blue dongle" but as mine is red will it work?

If not does anyone know where I can get a "red dongle" JR/Spektrum lead for XTR?

Hi Guy I have a Blue dongle so not sure if its the same with the Red one. I had a Hitec TX and lead but have gone over to a Spektrum DX8. If you get an old PC modem Phone cable that has a RJ11 plug on it cut off the the phone plug it should have 4 wires. With the RJ11 plug face up (metal connectors facing you) find the color of wire for the 2nd connector from the left mine was red and the 4th wire mine was yellow solder the wire from the 2nd connector to the center pin of a 3mm jack plug and the wire from the 4th connector to the outer part of the jack plug. I can now use my DX8 with the sim.

If it had have been Bladestriker, Boggy, Goughie, Wavey, etc etc I'd have set about them with gusto.
