Very True We have just bought a brand new car and the minute we turned the Key in the ignition it means we could only sell it for about 2 grand less that we just paid for it!!! But that unfortunately is life!

I think things have boiled over when they need not have.
People are well within their rights to ask any price they like for what ever it is they are selling. whether they get it or not is another thing.
I made what I believe was a sensible offer which was also all I was prepared to pay for the item. I did not get a response so I assumed it was not what TWOPART had in mind as a sensible offer and left it there.
no harm done, and I will buy a pheonix elsewhere when I find it a price I am willing to pay.

Not me I trust!Originally posted by twopart View PostI can believe the hassle and grief I have had of everyone in here and in private messages that have been sent.
For what it's worth, I offered £60 delivered in a PM. No abuse, no hassle, nothing else, just an offer of £60.
That still stands. I think it is a fair offer. Can't believe the heat this has caused.
Twopart has every right to reject the offer & if he does that's fine with me & I'll prob order from MH next time I need some parts & share the postage with those. (Or struggle on with Realflight)(Anyone want to buy a Realflight???) PM me.
Cheers all, calm down.

As I said before, the program is superb, and well worth whatever you're prepared to pay for it. It just seems people are prepared to pay about £60 for a used copy, as opposed to £80 for new.
By the way, I very nearly bought a used copy off ebay (for about £60) which didn't include the Phoenix dongle, and it's thanks to you guys that I realised it was worthless without the genuine dongle.
In the end I got it new for £79.95 with Esky adapter. Best £80 I've spent in a long time
Cheers

I simply cannot believe that a thread about selling an item (which he could ask whatever he wanted for BTW) could end up with abuse being thrown around.
I've seen less bile thrown at spammers who come onto forums such as this and try selling their own products with no more than 1 post.
They are the people we should have a go at, not a fellow flyer

Simple answer here mate, just put it on ebay... im almost sure you will get what your asking for. Dont think you will selling it for that price in here thats all. The guys in here that have sense you see will just go buy it new for a small amount more and will have a guarantee with it via receipt. Dont mean for that to sound silly but its just reality. Most of us on here because we talk to each other day to day will reflect that in the prices we sell things on here for really. This forum after all is about helping people. Im definately not saying let it go for a silly low price also mind. And not having a go or anything just stating a few facts here thats all bud.
Cheers

Hiya
Its a catch 22. Stick it on ebay you could get anything from
£49 with a swana adaptor
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Phoenix-RC-Fli...QQcmdZViewItem
or £73.55 with a futaba adaptor
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Phoenix-rc-fli...QQcmdZViewItem
but you pay ebays/ paypal rip off fees it may not be as good.
Thing are worth what people are willing to pay...... look at ebay a couple of years ago with nintendo Wii. Wii's were going for stupid money when all people had to do was wait a bit... its the same now with the Wii fit.
around the £60 ish mark you keep all the money and dont have to give it to any one else. I sold something on ebay for 99p paypal charged me 23p gits

You dont get nothing for free these days. Unfortunately its the way things are. My point is simply that this place is for helping people not profitting. If people want to be silly about it then this place isnt really for selling stuff, thats what ebays for. The classifieds are there as an add-on to the forum really. Obviously im not saying give it away but theres been a few offers made i beleive so surely twopart has some sort of inkling what its worth here but he obviously wants his price. So like im saying really... that price is obviously not for here thats all. Which is why i suggested ebay.

I can't beleive there has been so much said about this very simple post!!!
The chap want's to sell his Phoenix... he has suggested an asking price which is up for a sensible offer. We can all make an offer which may or may not be accepted.
Bottom line is he owns the sim and will sell it to the buyer who offers him a price that is both acceptable to him and the buyer!... end of.
50 responses and no sale.... leave the poor chap alone or buy the bloody thing at a price that will no doubt save a few quid with no loss over new. Or don't!!!!
I bought my Phoenix second hand and saved £9, a saving none the less and i'm savvy. It's not an old hammered servo he's selling with depreciation it's a cable and disc and the best disc (we all agree) money can buy!
Hold your corner dude....... It's worth £70 inc postage to all on here if they wan't one fact. £10 is a genuine saving to us hard earners.... half a gallon of the good stuff!!!

The main reason I came here was so that I and others don't get the cost of ebay and paypal.
instead I have been abused and people have blown things out of proportion.
it is now not for sale!!!.
I shall not be returning here due to the abuse.
I used to think this was a great site but how wrong I was!
it is just full of ignorant rude abusive people!
