  • Drop the tail gain? Or Align 3G's Limit?

    Hello,

Today in about 15mph gusts, my 450 Pro with Align 3G when side on with the wind in a gust the tail would wag. Is this a case of dropping the tail gain by a tiny amount or just admitting it is a little bit too windy?
It is solid though in low wind with the tail rock solid and no drifting in a hover. I'm thinking it may be the limit of the 3G. I did not experiment as i wimped off home after 2 flights.

Flew in the same winds with my 450. Didnt find my tail too bad but on occasions it did loose hold and got a bit of a bounce on. I wouldn't say to lower your gain although further tail setup may make things better. If its fine most of the time and you only notice in gusty conditions then its probably fine. Main issue is dealing with the wind, as soon as you turn downwind you find your heli in the next feild. I dont have the 3G but presumably you can adjust the tail to get it better?

I was dealing with the wind well, I could drop it a really small amount via my TX.
