Not my area but there will always be a jump/sink if the curves arent the same at the point in the curve you are using when you swap between modes.

i.e. change the pitch curve to the same as the idle up one. you will be hovering at a higher stick position, but wont get a jump. if you dont want negative pitch in normal mode you could always run a 'flat' curve to midstick and then linear from there to 100 pitch.

      No problem lol

That's the issue though, at the moment, in normal mode I hover at mid stick (5 degrees). With idle up, mid stick would be 0 degrees.

If I the curves are matched at the hover point, in normal mode I would have to hover at 3/4 stick.

As said above, its best you get used to 0 degrees at mid stick sooner than later, then all your pitch curves will be the same from mid stick up resulting in no jump when switching between modes. Unless your looking to fly scale only when you will have no real requirement for say -12/+12deg pitch

Thanks guys, I seemed to have missed your previous post Andy.

It was the quote below on the pdf that's confused, me Mark implied there was a way to get round but didn't say how.

"The only benefit of a 3/4hovering position is that when you select the stunt

mode for a different pitch range then the model will not “jump” as the new curve

becomes active. However this can be got round through flying style with the 1/2stick

option and I believe it’s benefits far out weight this small issue"

Ill adjust my normal curve so the hover point matches idle up.

            Thanks for you help
