Milton Keynes Heli Club fly in 2022

We will be holding an open day / fly in at Milton Keynes Model Heli Club on Saturday 23rd July. All visitors will be welcome. Fee for pilots is £10, no charge for spectators. Camping overnight on Friday 22nd at £10. Pilots must have BMFA insurance, please bring certificate for inspection.

Unfortunately we do not have access on Sunday. (There is a clay pigeon shooting club adjacent)!

We haven't had an event like this for about the last 4 years so this one is a bit of an exploratory venture.
There don't seem to be as many helliaddicts as there used to be, certainly not by looking at the activity on here.

If anyone is planning to attend perhaps you would please post on here also.

There will be some good raffle prizes.

It will of course be sunny, as usual.

Raffle prizes will include vouchers from Hely shop, bottles of wine, chocolates etc. The more people attend, the more prizes will be available. Families will be welcome, (dogs to kept on a lead). The organisers are hoping that there will be a great family atmosphere.
Weather will be excellent. I guarantee it.

Can I buy a raffle ticket if I'm not physically there? (I wish I could go, but now it's just too far as I'm way down in the boonies)

Yes, once the raffle has been finalised our treasurer will give details of the club's bank account so that anyone will be able to buy tickets.

There will be another open day at MK on 2nd September 2023. It will be the same format as last year, barbecue, raffle etc. free admission for spectators £10 to fly for non members. BMFA insurance needed please bring proof.
