Red Lodge Scale Flyin 4/6/17

What a brilliant day, sunshine (mainly) and a fantastic gathering of scale helicopters in all shapes and sizes. This side of the hobby seems to maintain a great following, some fantastic models on show both on the ground and flying despite the blustery conditions. Have to say a huge thank you to Nick from Red Lodge for putting on a great day, everyone is just so friendly and supportive whatever your ability or ambitions.

It was a great day with some lovely scale models, thanks to Nick and Julie for the hard work in organising the event, well done to Paul for the pilot's choice award with he's Westland Wessex, roll on next year.

The extra detail added to the engine is with silver solder and simple aluminium matting from Halfords, really simple but transforms the model. The chap who owns it also flies in a beautiful scale way too a very accomplished pilot😀
