I think that looks leagues ahead of the Goblin aesthetically. It is very pretty. The marketing pics did not do it justice looking at your pics. The canopy looks gorgeous

Plus it has "proper" landing skids :)

Other than it having 2 flat plates there is nothing else in common.

The Goblin's are very nice imo, but the Avant I have to say is in a different league. Had 3 Goblin's and still have one before anyone says anything. I loved the 770 and the Speed is still, well Im not bored with it yet so thats a good thing but the design and quality of the Avant is streets ahead. This looks and feels every bit as good as any German machine I have owned (TDR/Minicopter) and flies every bit as precise too. Although nowadays that gap is a lot closer due to FBL.
But every part of the Avant oozes quality. The boom is superb and I don't thnk the paint job will be peeling like my Goblin is already and even fading? (see above, still liking the Goblin's)

I got a feeling this is going to put Avant back on the map over here for sure :)

I suppose there is a Goblin similarity between the two if I was looking at the Mostro 100ft away just at the point those 2 bloody flies went into my eyes last year! I think thats where the similarity ends though. :)

Really nice looking heli there's no doubt about that.

No doubt it's a lovely heli and I would like to own one as I still miss my Aurora and I'm sue the quality is excellent, but honestly if this was align releasing it are you seriously trying to tell me that people wouldn't be slagging them off for copying?

So other than stacked metal frames, belt driven main and tail, 120 degree flat servo placement, dfc head, the way the belt is tensioned, the main gear setup, the way the shaft is located and fixed, the way the motor is tensioned, painted carbon fibre boon, plus many others I'm sure (i know lots of manufacturers do the same things and nothing is really new, well apart from the goblin that brought all this to the table) how are they different? lol

Just throwing it out there for s**** and giggles. :)

Coated the ESC tabs with the Plasti Dip liquid electrical tape stuff that Rob linked too. Awesome stuff!!!
