And laughing ,knowing I"ve seen it all!:D

I have just been overtaken on the M5 by a little rover 200 towing a trailer!:)

on the trailer was a transit recovery truck with another rover200 on the back!:D. I was doing 56mph (on the limiter) and he passed me like i was stopped!:):)

    I will die happy!

I've just seen a bike pass me about 80 mph followed by unmarked police car.
I drove of shortly afterwards and he is half a mile up the road getting dealt with. Bet he is having a bad day.
Can't believe that's legation to tow that weight?

LOL The things people do never cease to amaze me.. Not only is that car/trailer weight balance the wrong way round but they've got some balls to do more than 50mph with it! Either that or its Stupidity in its purest form!

MANY years ago when I lived in the Catterick Village. I used to travel along the A59 (before the M6 was built) between Ripon and Skipton. I was driving a Reliant Robin 3 wheeler at the time and overtook an MGB GT on an hairpin bend. He chased me for 35 miles up hill and down dale and couldn't pass me.
Better than that. In 1969 when I was in the Royal Signals, a Bond Bug on a timed lap beat an 'E' type Jag and a Lotus Cortina around the Speedway track near Aldershot.
Been there and done that, but never stop learning.
Now too many Helis to mention?

I didnt have time for a picture:(. I was watching him in my mirror and could not work out what it was! Then as he passed me I just burst out laughing. No thought of grabbing my phone.
the ticket for the picture i could stomach, but the kicking from the rcha fun police would have been unbearable :)

typing this on the A38at 56 mph is bad enough!:D
