A pal of mine at work has set one of these up and it looks really cool, so I'm proposing to run one on here.
Please indicate your interest in this thread.
To get it up and running, I would setup the league and invite forum members to join in. I would set up a specific PayPal account just for this so that you can pay in to join the fun. I'd suggest an entry fee of £10 or £20 per man say, and all the money would be distributed as prizes at the end of the season. The last race is in November, so this would be a handy cash bunce just before Christmas for the winner, runner up etc. Once I have a good idea of numbers and money in the pot, I can figure out how many places of prizes can sensibly be made, but in theory, I'd go with 50% of the prize fund to the winner, then various reducing amounts down to just the stake back as the bottom prize - i.e. you'd get your entry fee back as say 3rd, 4th, 5th place.

When you join the league, you will be prompted by email a week or so before each race to enter your predictions for the top 10 places in the race, fastest lap, pole position etc. Then you get points depending on how accurate your predictions were. If you miss a race by being on holiday or something, then the system will just automatically re-use your last prediction for the next race, so it's pretty self contained.
Please let me know if you're interested, and how much you think the entry fee should be. Obviously, the higher the fee, the higher the prize fund is likely to be, but also bare in mind that £10 or £20 say paid now will be long forgotten about by Christmas.

[h=3]Making your predictions[/h]Playing the Grand Prix Predictor is easy. Just predict the top 10 finishing order of the upcoming grand prix using the simple tool on the 'My Predictions' page.

Positions 1-3 are denoted by the podium at the top of the page, with positions 4-10 shown underneath.
You can also predict which driver you think will get pole position, which driver will set the fastest lap and which driver will gain the most positions during the race. To select your driver simply scroll through the list of drivers for each category until you have found your chosen candidate.
As with the top 10, you will score points based on these predictions.

[h=3]Saving your predictions[/h]Once you are happy with the predictions you have made, click the 'save' button at the bottom of the screen and your predictions will be set. If you change any predictions afterwards, you must press 'save' again in order for the changes to take effect.
You can make unlimited changes to your selection up until 5 minutes before qualifying for each grand prix, at which time your predictions will be locked.
[h=3]Non-submission of predictions[/h]If you enter less than 10 drivers in your prediction for any grand prix, you will not score any points for the missing positions.
If you fail to select a driver for pole position, fastest lap or most positions gained you will not be eligible to score. You will however be eligible to score for your top 10 predictions.
Once you have made a prediction, this will automatically become your prediction set for the full season, unless you change your predictions between grands prix.
Once you have registered your user profile, we will help you keep on top of your predictions by sending a helpful email reminder leading up to the deadline for each race. You can enable or disable these notifications via the My Account page.
