• Hotliner help :)

    Hi Guys,

Bit of a long shot here. I was wondering if there was any budding glider pilots on the forum?

What it is, I had a glider which I bought second hand and crashed it about a year ago. It was a Reichard Sprinter and word on the street is that its a pretty good model. It also has a MVVS motor and ESC combo. The motor and ESC survived but the Fuse is not in such good shape :(

What I'm after is a new Hotliner type glider to go round it. The motor is a 700w motor from the spec.

Does any anybody have any suggestion ??

    This was the glider

    How about one of these

    Reichard Model Sprinter

Then you would have a spare wing !!

Its OOS at the moment but he gets shipments from CZ every 2 weeks.

        Hotliner help :)

Take a look at the Speedy from Hobbyking as a budget option. It works out about £50 from the UK warehouse. For the money it's surprisingly good and would probably handle 700watts. I've just built one with a 550watt 3s setup.

Ive spoken to Gliders Distribution who were very helpful and showed me the way towards a nice £450 carbon fibre glider !!! It was nice but I'm not in to spending that much :)

I might try contacting Reichard Direct to see if they can help with a fuse only :)

@Jimmy actually its not that bad, I might have a go at patching it up. I'm going to need a fair bit of glass cloth and resin though !!!

Have you looked at the Multiplex Blizzard?

I've got a cheapo version of that. If not tvsf.co.uk is a glider only club and we have a forum. I can post your question if you want. Probably many slopers would be right.

the Blizzard are bags of fun i have flown them with a mate and we had loads of fun but its not in the same class as a hotliner which is more of a pylon racer and about 5 to 10 times faster :) , but would defo recommend a blizzard to any one
