htf do i mount this motor?

am i being stupid and missing something here?

if i mount the rear to the wood the shaft wont spin but the part with the wires will

you mount it the other way around and buy a prop adaptor to mount a prop :D

your engine is backwards :-)

you need a cross mount to suit it and prop adapter.

It needs the shaft fitting the other way and the motor fitting the other way round.

Take the shaft out and turn it the other way round so it is coming out the other end. then mount the motor the other way round

thanks guys, it just needs the shaft turning round to come out the other end. there is a circlip on 1 end and the grubscrew at the other end. ive not took it apart yet but if there isnt another groove on the shaft fot the circlip then i cant see how i can do it. fingers crossed the other groove will be there when i take the shaft out

i tried turning the shaft around but there isnt a flat spot for the grub screw or a groove for the cir clip when the shaft is in the position i need. looks like i will have to buy an adaptor that bolts on to the motor casing.

my yak is now finished thanks to si for the orange rx - hopefully might get to maiden tommorrow sometime.
i run the motor up and its got some pull even at 1/4 throttle. 10x6 apc 60amp esc 1400kv motor and 4cell lipo
