hi m8 sounds like you have 3d covered in the way of your sbach 342 and a umx beast i have a epp 3d plane great fun but only need 1 but i don't have an edf jet and i was looking at this 1

Stinger 64 EDF Sport Jet 700mm Blue EPO (PNF) (UK Warehouse)

mow they come as 3s setup but Ive been reading and there vids ob you tube of the 4s setup and they rip the sky apart i have the rad jet and I'm feed up of killing props on and this looks like a good replacement with room to make it go faster 2 heres a 4s setup
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uPtJ-n3zW74

this is a full 5 channel jet so a fully aerobatic edf jet at a good price and cose its foam you can just hot glue it back together after less than perfect landings :)

p.s check the other forums they do like this plane
Flies very nice as well, it's a Trainer with clout, I'm lusting after one!!!

Going for the small stuff is just the same as small helis, tend to be very twitchy, if you dumb them down with loads of expo it's ok until you need to avoid something and need plenty of stick travel, then they suddenly become an angry beast - been there broken a few that way. I'm flying a Wot4 foam-e at the moment and honestly think unless you're prepared to spend bigtime you will have a job finding anything better; mine has had a few good mishaps and with boiling water and cyano / epoxy / hotmelt still flies like a goodun!
Hope you find something you like at the right price, but my advice is don't be overambitious, I've also been there and it cost me.
thanks that 22 looks abit too fast at the moment and you right about the small planes my 2 micros are supidly twitchy but got used to them now and will take abit of the expo off :P

Hyperion Sniper X.
Expensive for a piece of sponge but cheap to kit out 1.2m wingspan. EPP, easy and cheap to fix when you stack it. Flys as much like balsa as you'll get. Fully extreme 3d capable but you can dial it down to a trainer if you like. Handles the wind well. My most flown plank.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUhjHEpY4vw

When you "graduate" the Extreme Flight Edge EXP..end of.
.......unless otherwise stated, all opinions are my own.

If you've got a bit of a downer on the Wot4foam-e then the Acrowot Foam -e could be good, they fly nice slow or fast and are very agile and like the Wot4 run nicely on 3s 2200's and both will fly in a fair bit of wind; been gusting up to 30mph while mine's been up; bit hairy but no real problems.

I about to go for a Hobby King 1.4M Sbach from the UK warehouse, (yes Tom it does come with slippers, flat cap and a pipe :)

Sbach 342 (Orange) EPO 1400mm (PNF) (UK Warehouse)

Thought long and hard about the new Eflight edge QQ and the Multiplex Razzor. The Eflight is a going to be very light and requires new packs. The Razzor is a touch smaller but it can take bigger packs. The Sbach costs about the same, it is much bigger and heavier and therefore more stable in the wind. The only down side is the cheap electronics outfit that will need to be replaced at some point if you are going to get serious about banging it around the sky.

absolutly great plane is the stinger 64,,10 mins to put togeather and no gluing,,flys fantastic straight out of the box,,the esc is not that great though and you have to make sure you dont block the airway with the battery or the esc gets hot and cuts out til its cooled down,,takes a crash good too ,,my lad has but the nose on his 4 times now but out with the hot glue gun and its flying perfectly again
