Any ideas??

Get yourself a flying wing, great fun to mess around with, pretty rugged and if you get something like a slipstream from flying wings you can use those batteries...

I've just got into the planes abit as at some point I want a spitfire.
For a laugh I got little sukhoi just to get an idea of flyin a plane although small its easy compared to heli.
Then went for a wing a raven and a mate went for one that uses the 3s 2200 lipo great fun and cheap
easy to repair with tube of glue.
I spoke to horizon at Weston park they said the Trojan was a good starter plane.

I had an ST Models MX2 EP ARTF MX2 EP ARTF ST Models - A-STM050 | Slough Radio Control Models it few well on 3cell 2.2 Undercarage was a bit week but I think they have been beefed up a bit since I had mine but if you fly off grass leave the spats off. Fit an APC prop as the kit one is flexable. Very aerobatic. If you want something truly awsome (see expensive) go for any of the Sebart 30 size models but look Purple Power Brushless Motors, ESC's Prop adapters, Motor Mounts from 4-Max for the power set

Any ideas??

Thanx guys :) I've put out a few words to the Mrs and lets hope she is listening cause I wanna see a nice big box under the Christmas tree and it best be there ;)

Another great idea to follow after the plane is to add FPV, just for park flying cause where we fly is really one of the biggest parks and it's always quite to do some aerial

If you are going for a Wot 4, just check it has the latest ESC or run an external BEC.
Cheers,

Shuffle the ESC into the minimal airflow from that silly little duct in the cowl, then get a knife and make that duct about 5 times bigger - has worked on mine so far.
