For those expert on EDF planes

I have a Kyosho T33 (and a Warthog foamie) that I would like to convert to brushless. Both planes were given to me last year and I know nothing about the planes.

The Kyosho, I was told, will need a 70mm ducted fan unit.
I would like to use 3s batteries on the plane.. so what fan/motor combo can I use?

Will this be ok on 3s lipo?

And does this mean I'll need at least a 40amp ESC?

I would be tempted by a 45 or 50amp esc, I'm no expert on planes or edge, but looking at the current on the fully charged 3s lipo (12.6v), 39amps would be too close to the esc limit for my liking ;)

Check out my video chanel i have fans and motor and lipo specs on there, but sounds like ur looking for a 3s set up, i have a new 70m fan to run on 4s and a matched esc 45a that i have just taking out of a new model so i can fit my own set up

Thanks disho, would that 70mm fan of yours be able run on 3s? Will it have a motor?

Hi, yes there is a motor and fan, yes it would run on 3s, but would be better on 4s :iagree:
