I've never experienced crap service from HobbyKing. I'd say the same goes for the VAST majority of people who buy from them. In fact, I read more complaints on here from people who have experienced crap customer service from their LHS.

The analogies are getting worse. Just because you fly cheaper, you'd still expect to get there? Or would you settle for the odd crash due to saving loads in the past. Getting tiring this discussion now. Some have good service, some have never had anything like service.

the fact remains, you shouldn't accept the odd dead pack for example and bin it just because you have saved in the past against uk suppliers!

I don't understand the mentality of this. You're not saving money as such by buying from HK, you're simply buying a cheaper product. This is no excuse for poor service nor should it be a reason for anyone to accept a poor product or even failed product.

Who cares about the service. I don't for commodity items like lipo. I do expect it to be replaced if it does not work as intended. If that is what you mean by service then I agree.

But my experience is different to yours. I've always had things fixed when they do not work by HK. And so have all the club members who return faulty items. I've heard a few rants from people who could not be bothered to return the items.

You are also missing the point I was trying to make but am starting to lose he will with. Service can be bad, ie poor delivery Etc. I wasn't sent enough and was without lipos and cash for 5-6 weeks while battling with online "support". What some are saying about hk is that they don't mind the bad service or even the fact they may have to throw away the odd dud lipo as they have still saved in the long run.

To add myself and a couple of people i fly with have had faulty stuff from UK warehouse,De,and international and issues were dealt with promptly and as expected with refunds or replacements.

I assume as they have more customers than other companies could only dream about there will be higher instances of both good and bad reports,you have to get the bad reports into context against actual amounts sold.

If the UK model industry wasnt into price fixing to protect margins,crying to suppliers if undercut Hobbyking might have more competition on their hands.
