Buying from HobbkyKing UK Warehouse????
That's what I thought, would find it very useful to see a break down of the £20000 spent over 5yrs to my other half to show that I'm not so bad!! Hahaha!!😂Originally posted by Reality Bites View PostWhat on earth have you bought from them to spend on average around 300-350 a month for 5 years?

Im also being conservative with that number....Originally posted by Reality Bites View PostWhat on earth have you bought from them to spend on average around 300-350 a month for 5 years?
all you need top do is take a look in my shed and everything will become clear! when I started developing my heli,s they where the obvious choice for batterys and at least half of that is lipos, and a large bite of that is postage too ....
Ive pulled a large number of planes through my wallet learning how to fly Im not one of those born with a gift of flying so everything came at a price...2 sets of 930 blades before postage and there is ya 350 down the drain!
some lipos.... many many have recieved the RAKE treatment already and a case full are still not shown here

the rake treatment
and a corner of the cave

and just in case you need some ammo for your wives and girlfriends show them this...i have many pages and they all look like this

I am sure uk model stockists will hope that some air of unpredictbility remains over whether buying from Hobbyking Uk warehouse has any tax risks or warranty clauses etc,and with Hobbykings clout i cant say i blame them for being worried.
But the simple facts are goods purchased and sent from the UK warehouse will not be liable for any tax as the goods are already in the UK,obviously also this applies to purchases from any EU memberstate as well.Warranties are also honoured.
Another fact is Hobbyking bad customer feedback pales into insignificance compared to the happy customers they have, otherwise how come Hobbyking are expanding so rapidly, are all the customers idiots? Or are they just coming back for more great service.

Well, being the big-stakes gambler that I am, living on the edge and all that stuff, I have just ordered a pair of LiPos from the UK warehouse sooooo, lets see if I get lucky again.
I will say, so far I have never had a problem and the only gripe in the past was the shipping cost and delivery time but the last order I did through the UK warehouse arrived fairly quick so fingers crossed!Kasama, Minicopter, Henseleit, JR, Shape, Beam

didnt have to... nothing dodgy I declared every value to its correct limit and 98% of all those orders are made in Australia where we have a $1000 import duty free system, anything over a $1000 you must pay duty! so all above board and worry free....Originally posted by Gliderman View Postand you paid No VAT on these..... in answer to my original question ??
since being in the Uk and the rubbish get taxed because you own your own A R S E Hole! for everything you do ....I dont spend as much anymore, the uk depot has the dregs of everything and nothing available compared to the other depots,Hobbyking headoffice is just 5 days delivery by snail mail to Perth so was never an issue....Be Truthfull.....To yourself First!...

Buying from HobbkyKing UK Warehouse????
At the end of the day we are not putting our hands in a lions cage. We are making a sound financial buying decision. Part of making that decision includes understanding the risks and recourse.Originally posted by Ivor biggun View PostIf you put your hand thru a lions cage and it bit you would you do it again?
I don't suspect my spend is as high as volts but even if I had to throw away 20% I would still be quids in.
Ps. Thanks volt. My wife now thinks I'm a saint. Lmfao.

I don't look at it like that. If I save 50% by buying from HK then I can afford to have a problem now and then and still come out financially up. If I buy something like a lipo and I have a problem then I can afford to just throw it away and forget about it and just buy another and I would still think it worth the hassle for what I had saved. If it happened often though I would start to question whether it was worth the hassle and the money but while it is very much the exception then I shall continue to use them.Originally posted by Ivor biggun View PostIf you put your hand thru a lions cage and it bit you would you do it again?Paul

Surely if you are prepared for a small risk (and to be fair, there's always a risk with on-line buying), and the product does what you want and it is the best price, what's wrong with that?Originally posted by wadders View PostLike I said: buying on price!
I wouldn't buy the same product somewhere else, just to pay more. Don't we all shop around for the best deal?
