having worked for Lidl for 3 years during my student days, i can tell from personal experience that most of their stuff is very good. it wont stand up to big named brands but its mid range definitely above budget if you pay of it (even Lidl has two flavors of the same stuff). of course they do sell a lot of budget stuff, with Lidl you can get the same tool in two different prices the cheaper of the two is always the budget and higher is mid range. i have never come across any Pro stuff. Although nowadays the cheap stuff is sold a lot less than when i worked there.

all Lidl tools are made by Einhell Tools (Einhell Germany AG: Einhell Germany AG)and are decent. will get the job done but are not really Pro grade. but are more than enough for the DIY jobs. if you are going to use it for daily use and trade buy something else.

the geny is made by Einhell too Power Generator (Petrol) BT-PG 2800: Einhell Germany AG

puller handle is different but its the same genny, all parkside stuff is slight modified/changed (colours, handles etc..) to sell as Parkside

as far as the once i sold about 7 years ago was made in the Eu and was not the cheap Chinese stuff. Lidl will replace or full refund if its faulty in the 3 years with no quibble most stuff only appears twice a year so is only refund most of the time. the only thing i every got back in large numbers, was their DVD players and Ceramic heaters when i worked there. the DVD was cheap and most people damaged them by jamming them up. they still got a full a refund, even though it was quite obviously user error. heaters did go wrong though.

anyways there is no one else who will sell you a 2600w genny at this price (except Aldi of course) and 3 years warranty go buy one it will work for what we do... or buy more Batts...

Will this work with sensative equipment then . As I got a 2.3 kw Genny from mackro only £120 but my icharger really doesn't like running from it , it takes 8 a temps to getting charger to turn on . When I read up about generaters the output wave needs to be very stable and on cheap one its not and can damage the charger.

I'd say it's very unlikely. There's generally a reason for them to be cheap and not having a pure sinewave output would be one of them. The Kipor I bought was cheaper than a Honda has a pure sinewaver inverter and runs the chargers no problem (probably 'cos it's a Honda copy), but was a lot more than this. I paid £325 for max output of around 900w, £170 for 2.6kw there's got to be a cut back somewhere.

Not had it long enough to give a fair report as I've only had it a couple of weeks. It starts on the first or second pull (second on Sunday after being left for a week in the garage). I can plug power supplies in while it's running and it doesn't trip out. I've put a 40amp load at 15.9v through it and it only started to work a little faster. I had it running on Sunday from 2pm till 7pm with a few people using it to charge packs running off my new 1200w power supply and 2 chargers and it never missed a beat. It ran for that long on one tank of fuel and there was still some left. It's fairly quiet, looks well made and I'm really happy with my purchase. To be honest all I could hear was other gennys going and I forgot my was even there, I just went and put another battery on to charge.

I'm sure Hondas are better (although even those are not perfect) but I couldn't justify almost 3 x the price.

i have found with the old mans honda that if you use anything other than hondas own branded oil it will burn oil
with the honda oil in it it burns none
and it has done this from new

i was looking at a new ride on mower at a local shop, when i asked the salesman if the hondas still burnt oil he soon
showed me another brand with a briggs and straton engine in it
