Pal of mine from work has a TREX 450, so just before lunch today he calls me up, 'I've brought my heli in today, wanna see it fly?"
"Sure, be down at 2pm, cya then."
Off I trots down to our warehous with me phone, to vid him flying, and another of the guys has got the bug, and bought himself a Co-Comanche, nice dark green beasty from E-Sky.
Anyway I vid me mate flying his TRex around, then my other mate, who only got it today btw, flies his for a while. Then the guy with the TREX shows us how it should be done with the Commanche before, and this is the trusting bit, I get handed the Comanche controls, "you sure?" Says I, he nods, so off I go, my thought is as I hang it there in midair just how stable that little bird is, it's easier to fly than mine, though maybe that's because we had more room than I do normally, a 14 foot bedroom not best place for helis, compared to a 30 foot warehouse. Anyway I felt chuffed that he trusted me, knowing I'm still only a week into my first 4Ch heli. Him trusting the other guy I understood, he has plenty of experiance (cf crashes) under his belt, and a much harder to fly heli than us. I look forward now to the day I can pick up a metal carry case for mine and take it to work one day, so they can see it.
