  • Raptor 30 clutch

I've been swapping engines a fair bit in my Rappy so I thought I'd get a new clutch so I could build up the engine on the bench with fan and mount ready to whack it in as and when........which I did. I found the engine was having to overspeed to get the clutch to engage. Can't be the liner cos the bird has only had about 5 tanks so I put the clutch on that came with the kit and perfect.
I was looking at the clutch itself and the slots on the "new" one are narrower so I'm guessing the new clutch is thicker where it flexes; I should have checked but time was ticking by. I know with my old V1 Rappy years ago that I had to fit a heavy duty clutch to get any life from it but aren't V2 clutches supposed to be better??
Helicopter pilots get it up quicker.

When the blue light is flashing I am kidding.

Why simplify when it is so much simpler to complicate.
