The wife rings me at work, and informs me a bloke just came round wanting me to repair his car.
I sold a car many moons ago, can't evan remember its been that long.

The wife said his exhaust is blowing, and thinks I should pay. I have only ever sold 2 cars, all the others have been traded in.

The wife explains it was sold as seen, and warranty comes from dealers.

I said your taking the pee, nope 100% gen.

What a plonker.

Thinking about it some more, it must be 7 yrs back and it was an Alfa 156. Can't believe in all that time it's only had a blow exhaust, what a good buy he got. Then ask for me to pay for a repair lol, we'd be alright buying second hand helis and asking the seller to folk out for repairs.

As it's an alfa you should charge him a fee for it being a rare reliable one

I had the timing belt snap on it a few months before i sold, alfa charged £1700 ish quid for repairs warranty covered.

But a part from that it was a good car, i bought another alfa 156 but the 2.5 v6 version, the amount for people coming and trying to take £££'s off was a joke, both cars was on the drive and i said i dont need to sell today or next month. This old dude came and bought with no fuss, till today.

I no how unreliable they are, but the sound they make is some thing els. Had both cars for a total of 6 months, then came the scoob and the world of forums for me, hence the user name.
