The outrage servo's are really good but then so are the BLS series from Futaba and the HV series from JR so plenty of choice there!

I like the JR HV and Futaba BLS but here many going on about the Outrage HV range also.

We have Outrage HV Torq servos on the FBL 700 turbine; if they can put up with 3D'ing a FBL machine which weighs close to 7kg, then they must be pretty damn good IMO. They are also quiet, efficient, metal cased, and look pretty cool too, they get my vote

JR and Futaba are the 'gold' standard manufacturers. There are a lot of new ones coming onto the market in recent years.

I think the daddy of them all for cyclic use is the Futaba BLS157HV

514 oz-in (37 kg/cm) 0.11 sec/60° when run at 7.4volts. That is more than double the torque of the outrage bl9180 at 226 oz/in (16.3 kg/cm) 0.11 sec/60°.

I personally love the MKS HBL950/980 servo's so far. The Align's/Savox are great servo's, but on 8v on a 90 the gears wear fairly quickly. The MKS look awesome and the gears are still silky smooth and no slop.
8717's seem to wear fast too, although the 8717HV's seem very good, but very pricey!
No had any of the new BLS futaba or know anyone that has, but so far with the service from MKS and performance it's looking excellent. Outrage Torq are made by MKS as far as I'm aware.

Got to be Outrage or the Futaba BLS range IMO.

The BLS range have a sacrificial plastic gear in place (£5), compared to the £20 metal gearset from Align.

The snag is though with sacrificial gears is that they always end up breaking the gear. I have never stripped an align 610 or MKS in many many crashes!

Absoloute best servo Futaba BLS 157HV For larger helis, the torque and speed is un matched 37kg torque @ 11sec 7.4 v

But realisticaly I love my 351s there so precise and strong there great for 600/700 machines like your logo.

But the best value for money servo is easily spektrum 6090HV im useing them on my velocity there specs are unbelivebale for the price!!!! 20kg torque 0.9sec.

Think these are partly JR and like JR's love to eat your rx lipos.

I hear outrage servos are very very good but Ive not tried them yet but spec wise the ultimate servo would for me be the 157's they would be my choice I know they will feel like a bls 351 on steroids! Futaba digital precision is unmatched!

But for a realistic price the spektrum 6090HV are very good and the bls 351's also are very good

And as a DX8 user it pains me to say futaba have the ultimate servo LOL
