Rainbow blades

I was talking to one of the other pilots at our field on Sat. He told me you can get main blades that reflect colours when spinning in sun light. Has anyone heard of these or am I having my leg pulled?

I have seen some mainblades with a holographic covering. It looked like some sort of sticky film added to a set of blades.

Guess at the right angle the main blades would look like a CD :lol:

Not heard of any.
More likely to be a blade covering material being used.

I think G-Dave is right I remember seeing a pic of that somewhere but cant remember where.

It also appears that V blades are working on a two colour blade (one colour on top different colour below)

I had some delivered about a month ago,along with a few T-shirts

I have a 50 JR Ergo that I had painted pink with silver fleck through it, pink tail blades, pink paddles, so I had to get the colour on the blades
Its a real GAY heli

O, by the way,if you fit the rainbow film,
it's a good idea to rebalance the blades.

P.S. yes!! the colour changes in the sun, looks great
