That is some good advice, thought that ali would perform better than plastic but the servo damage is a very important point so I will stick with plastic. More cash towards the canopy

Just got my carboncopy canopy today and fitted it some pics in my gallery that I've just uploaded.
      Cheers

Having run 4 tanks through the beast I am amazed at how quick this heli drinks a tank of fuel. Of course hovering, lazy 8's and some light circuits are not the most fuel efficient flying but then again neither is 3D etc.

Guess I have burnt about 1/5 to 1/4 of the bottle so far 8O but then it does seem to be running rich as very smokey. Main needle is 1.5 turns out which is the stock position. Head is cool (almost cold) after 10 minutes of flight.

The extra oil content does increase the smoke levels, and will make you think its too rich if you've been used to small % of oil....the true test is in the running.

I've ton's of smoke infact once I ran the heli with the middle needle out fully and it flew fine a bit sluggish but the smoke was everywhere , now its runs at about 1 1/2 turns on the high end and 1/4 turn on the middle. But I still have a good amount of smoke.

Good point Stuart, must take into account the addtional oil. Have not leaned it out at all so still at the stock 1.5 turns on main needle and the idle needle is as factory set (think it is a touch too rich currently). I ran the 1st tank at 1.75 turns to keep it well oiled and cool (although cooling is not a problem with the Hyper head)

Am going to raise the head speed up to 1800 (1811 I think in fact on the TJ Pro) for the next flight once I get the pitch set up perfectly...
