Thanks boggy, gixerman and especially Md001. Just wanted to help a fellow flier get into the hobby and keep him flying.
Sadly not sticking with the hobby. Between health being too poor (for the last 2 years) and living in a bloody tornado zone, I haven't flown since August. When I'm well, the weather's crap. When the wind's died down to a dull roar, I'm laid up indoors unable to breathe, walk or concentrate. grrr
Trashed the heli and binned the remains. Removed from bin, if only to reassemble as a non-flying mantlepiece-dweller if health permits. I fly prescriptions more than helis....
So, many thanks anyway.

Postscript to this: I had a pair of gerbils and got Gerbil Keeper's Lung. About a month after that post it nearly killed me.
They look cute but be careful letting your kids have them as pets.
