The Eddie Gold Star Scheme

A few years ago Eddie a regular member,set up a scheme to recognise rcheliaddicts members who went above and beyond the normal forum contribution to help a fellow addict. Unfortunately Eddie is unable to carry on running it at the moment .
The EGS quickly became a hit with members as recognition of this help.Also alongside the gold scheme was an added bonus for exceptional help which was the platinum star.

example
1) has allowed a forum member to have his phone number and spent personal time explaining a fix
2) has sent a forum member parts gratis.
3) has met with and set up a model for a forum member
4) repaired a members heli.

etc etc your imagination is the limit,If you think a member deserves recognition then nominate them

I have spoken with Eddie and until he feels happy enough to return I have taken over the running of the scheme

Be warned though to keep them as special recognition in the spirit they were intended they won't be given out willy nilly!

and a platinum star will be rarer than a fillet steak thats had its horns pulled off,n' its bum wiped with grass from the meadow it was eating!

I would like to nominate Mark E for a star please Ron,he set up my vbar today and has also set up a few for other members of the club too.He even took 2 helis home last week for 2 guys to set up when he had a new E7 waiting to be built lol

And,for showing us what a heli addict is like at its peak...money must grow on trees in Sherbourne pmsl

id like to nominate bigbas (Barry) the guy pretty much organised my holiday in Cornwall for me, got loads of info and posted me a shedload of flyers and a map (he paid for the postage and the map) left me his number if i was ever to get stuck, and i have never met the guy!! top bloke!!! thanks again!!

There is the p4ddy silver heli award which is for whoever wants one really lol. The added bonus of a PDS is that Gav has control of the heli & it takes on various forms regulary lol. At present it has a pencil cartoon like effect. I asked eddie to give me a star once but it didn't work

I've just taken back all control of my silver heli so it's back in it's original form
