Hey buddy, this needs its own thread really, are you sure you have no mixes in, and also, what heli is it, and are you sure its not you lol

    Hi Challis,

I am usually the first to admit when I have got it wrong and on the first instance, I didn't even think about a radio issue. However, 3 models going in within 5 sessions is more than in the previous 3 years so I suspect that something else may be the reason especially as they all went in with the same problem. I have flown 4 more sessions since grounding my futaba and apart from a couple of landings that could have been nicer, no issues at all.

Only mixes are the swash mix, gyro which may not be correctly done as I did have a nightmare getting this to operate in rate/hh mode but it does hold the tail now so I think I found a setting that worked. Helli(s) was trex 450, e-sky honeybee 3, and another trex 450

I know this is an old thread now but I hate it when there is information missing, so here goes.

I sold the futaba and bought the A9. A lot of flying has taken place with the A9 both planks and Helis, I have to admit that it is the best radio system I have ever owned and I have tried quite a few and used to be a JR fan for many years. It is not without fault though. Whilst using it as the master in a buddy set up it somehow lost calibration for the throttle and I had to re-calibrate it. That was easy but the annoying thing is that I needed help from forum members to find out how to do that, hitec support isn't great for UK owners, but that is my only gripe.
