I am gradually getting the bits and bobs I need for a forthcoming 700 Rex Helibug gasser conversion - ultimately it will be converted to a Wren 44 turbine unit.
The electronics line up so far is
a trio of Futaba BLS 351's (already owned)
a Spartan 760 gyro (already owned)
2500 mah 2 cell lipos x 2 (bought)
Spektrum AR9000 receiver (already owned)
suggestions please for a
Regulator - (currently considering the Scott Gray Reactor X2)
Tail servo (currently considering a Futaba BLS251 or a MKS BLS 980)
Governor (Stator Gator??)
Throttle servo - directly linked to a chain saw engine!!! Mucho shakey!!!
I am trying to get the best possible kit (in terms of reliability and quality) not the cheapest possible.
Any suggestions or guidance ?????
Initially the gasser will be a high vibration environment - one the turbine goes in it will be a virtually nil vibration environment - in both cases it will be used for hard sport flying / mild 3d.
