DOH!!!! is there any hope?

i may have just fast charged my receiver pack with the cables connected backwards is there any hope for my poor battery or is it game over, the only worrying thing is my gyro and receiver seem to have stopped working completly, is it likely that i've goosed the pair of them??

when you say backwards do you mean with the charger connected to the reciever or reversed connections to the battery.

what charger did you use?

yeh +ve and -ve the wrong way round,
i used a delta peak fast charger

So, after charging the wrong way round, you connected the battery and no Rx or Gyro ?
Most charger know if you have the battery wrong? But... if you charged it wrong you 'can' end up with a battery pack charged and holding a charge the wrong way round, thus if you connected it and turned on the rx gyro and servos could be damaged.
Have you put another battery on and tested the Rx etc? When that battery was charging wrong, did it get rather warm? was it connected to the Rx etc ?

Why not just charge the pack like normal and see if it holds a charge, praps you have no rx or servo response because the charger detected the problem and the pack never charged so it's still flat.

I'd of thought if it had tried to charge the wrong way something would have gone bang.

thanks guys i'll dig out a standard receiver pack and give that a go,

ummmm slight pilot error on my part all is fine the charger did go into protect and the battery is totaly goosed, but i have a standard flightpack in there untill i can afford another decent one! guess that os37 will have to wait another month!

I use these for Rx Tx and flight batteries (not Li Po) Find them good with free post !
