I have a KDE one way bearing. I could hear clicking from the one way bearing as the rotors turned with the motor switched off.
I duly disassembled and attempted to fit new ones to it and have gone through 8 bearings trying to fit them carefully using differing
methods, the ali top piece is the worst- the machining tolerances are terrible. Even with heat the bearing has to be pressed in and being a small bearing it distorts during fitment.
I have been fitting bearings in various heli's for years and never come across anything like this before.
I plan to toss the KDE part as its a brilliant idea however very poorly executed.
I nearly bought some of their blade grips recently, thankfully I didn't! I will be staying clear of their products in future.
I will take a chance on an align part instead. At least the unit is serviceable.
