New Skin

Its been an on going project to work on and off on idea's for a fresh new look for the site. I did buy some of the shelf but have never really felt comfortable with them.

So I started a design, but without wanting to spend too much time in case members didn't like the potential new look of the new header. Before I spent more time on the buttons, icons, background, table layouts etc.

I thought I would and not a vote just a general opinion really of what you all think.

The buttons are roll overs so they change colour as you pass over them, again people might not like the second colour choice.

Anyway, all feedback good bad and in the middle welcome.

Thats a cool skin stu, i personally like the way the icons at the top change colour

Oh and if you haven't noticed .co.uk is gone from the name because rcheliaddicts.com will be the new home.

I used to have .com under rcheliaddict (less the 's') then some twat nicked it. So I stayed with .co.uk and I do like .co.uk. It just seemed fitting to have a new skin with a slight change in the domain and its a more recognised global format considering 50% of the traffic is none UK it seemed fitting.

Its simple to change in terms of just parking up the .co.uk and placing .com over the site and let the DNS changes work through the net.

However, again, if people would prefer to stay with .co.uk I have to issue either way. I can easily redirect the .com to the .co.uk.

.com will definately give it a more global appeal, not everyone from around the planet knows how to type .co.uk

Nice look, you wouldn't believe how many times I've hit .com instead of .co.uk by mistake, end up on a drug rehab site.... D'OH!!!

Yes looking good i prefer the font used in the logo and the interactive menu is great but would it not make sence to have the .co.uk directed to the .com ? gives a more global feel to the site then or some people from other parts of the world might get put of being directed to a .co.uk

But i must say that the best thing about this forum is the recent threads on the home page i think that is a fantastic feature and i think all forums should have it as it stops some threads being missed as they might be in a unusual cat.
