Haha. No reason other than lack of imagination haha. I didn't want to come across like I was saying "people at your club know nothing about XYZ so fly what they fly" because that was completely contrary to my whole point I just wanted to say that it's important to be able to get help when needed etc.

I can't wait mate to be honest It is going to be a brand new experience for me. I love my flying so much and this latest addition is going to enhance the experience even more. Mostly with long flight times lol more stick time=more progression.

It was the one Maj sold me with the 700n that he put up for sale last night.

I bought the airframe, at which point he very kindly offered to also sell me the engine and pipe.

As i have a Vbar and set of servos ready and waiting, this package was too good to turn down knowing Maj is a reputable guy that looks after his stuff.

i've found the hard way on the lipos
out of 3 6s turnigy packs i've not long purchased the one has had only 3 flights and lost a cell causing a crash in my plank
the the other two packs came down with 60% still in them this one had 2% and not seeing the 6th cell on the lipo checker
it damaged the covering on the pack so sending it back by any postal service is out of the question
i'm yet to hear back from the supplier to see about warranty on the pack
i know i've got no chance of anything for the repairs to the plank

Yeah it's very different for each induvidual which is why I found the bit about LiPo costs difficult to summarise.

Does anyone know the procedure for submitting articles to the BMFA for their mag? I have send 3 emails to editor@bmfanews.org and had no reply at all...
