Coolice helicopter tuition

Had a great day yesterday, i went to see Ian Contessa (Coolice) for some helicopter set up & tuition.
I spent a full day at the field with him, where he went through the set up of my helis and fine tuned them. They are now a lot more predictable which has given me more confidence in them.
He also put me on the buddy lead, made sure the newly set up helis felt ok for me & went through my flying routine, showing me where i'm going wrong.
Just having him stand at the side of me talking me through the maneuvers gave me the confidence to try new things!
I fly on my own most of the time, so it was really nice for someone else to see where i'm at. I came away buzzing with lots to work on.
So, what ever level you are at, if you fancy having some lessons, i can recommend a visit to Ian. Coolice Flight School
I also had the added pleasure of watching Ben Britton & Alex Hawtin practicing their 3D routines which was breath taking!!

So a big thank you to Ian for your time and patience, i hope i didn't ask too many questions!

Thank you for the kind words, it's greatly appreciated.

Dan, I'm glad you had a good day and took some useful information away with you, as well as a renewed confidence in your models.
The Raptor E550 with 3DH (?) FBL fitted was an interesting one for me with this budget FBL unit and the difference felt just by fitting dedicated FBL carbon blades over the SWE fibreglass ones was interesting to.

Look forward to seeing you again soon for your next set of manouvers.
