Hey, yes the parts are the same as the standard Mini Titan, with the obvious exception of the head. Midland Helis had them for £225 but are out of stock at present. There is someone selling them on eBay for £250 with a free battery which is still a good deal. The latest edition of RC Heli Pilot (US Magazine) has a good review of the heli.

      Help with choosing a 450

Well I flew my b450 3D today. First flight just simple hovering, second flight tried some slow circuits which ended in epic crash with bent blade grip, Chipped blades, tail boom support broken. Needs further inspection

        All part of the game!!!

        My 4503D had:
        1. maiden flight one minute hover followed by a crash (£25 to repair)
        2. second week crashed whilst taking off (£20 to repair)
        3. third week battery disconnected in flight (£15 to repair)

        Most spares come in twos.

The first time I crashed my 450-3D, I was gutted. However, by the evening, I'd watched the repair videos from Horizon Hobby and disassembled the broken parts. It made me much happier to see how easy it was to repair.

If you *think* have you have bent blade grip - it's a (very) good chance that the grip is fine, but the feathering spindle is bent.
Chipped blades I'd replace - the imbalance would otherwise cause you loads of isses.
Boom is possibly bent if support has gone - but really cheap/easy fix and comes in a pack of 2.
Check your main shaft for straightness
Check you main gear for stripped teeth.
Servos tend to strip teeth too, but you only need to replace the servo gears if so - new servos not required.

Once I'd repaired my first crash - it ended up being a positive. I realised that a crash wasn't the end of the world, and that I could repair stuff quite easily. In the case of the 450-3D, quite cheaply too.

As TheDarkPassenger says - most parts come in packs of two.
