      if you mean up and down, it like be a combination of things - firstly its a fixed pitch heli if memory serves, meaning that to bring it down, your reducing the headspeed and the heli can accelerate downwards quite quickly due to gravity, and being new may mean you could be being overly heavy on the sticks trying to slow it down, causing it to jump up again - finesse comes with experience i'm afraid.

        Never known the Blade SR to yo-yo only the tail just wags but controllable.
        Your control inputs need to be smooth, stick bangin does not work very well on the SR, to slow!
        make sure you battery's are fully charged including your TX. The Blade SR are not the best Helis but good to learn on. keep at it it will come! Try not to rush
