  • Main Gear replacement

I need to replace the main gear on my Esky Belt CP following a little incident....

Can anyone offer any advice on how to do this or know of any online guides.

    Thanks in advance.

just undo the links to the swashplate and undo the screw under the main gear and pull the main shaft up. thats it really. i heard the HDX450 has a stronger main gear than the belt cp and fits the belt cp well but ive not tried it.

one way is to use a vice and something thats slightly wider than the bearing and push it out, or do what i do and just buy it ready fitted. i cant be bothered messing around or even worse breaking those fragile spokes at the moment.

Sorry about this - got the bearing out but dropped it and did'n't check which way the one way was. Looking down should the main gear freewheel clockwise or anti clockwise.

i think its clockwise, if you look closely there is an arrow on the bearing, that should be underneath when fitted, if that makes sense.
