Hi,
I followed the advice and bought myself a DX6i and Phoenix simulator to practice on.
I am a complete newbie and after calibrating the transmitter (used same profile as DX6) I had a go with some practice flying. Using the training helicopter I found it virtually impossible to take off and when I did the helicopter was all over the place, which I found odd and I could not get a hover.
I have probably got something set up wrong and I am worried that if I can't control a heli on the sim I have no chance of controlling a proper model.
One thing I did notice was that when you show the transmitter and the position of the sticks, the right stick moved on the screen even when I was only using the throttle.
Help!!
