Wider skids on T-rex 450

There are loads of threads re putting 500 skids on 450 heli. I went one further and placed 600 skids and has greatly helped my confidence in landing and taking off. I dont need to put those horrible trainers on with balls!! I have used a 500 skid, but the 600 just gives that extra width. Also tall enough to place a Drift HD camera underneath.. The 500 skids look a lot better, but who cares. Will swap to the 500 ones when my skills improve. Also placed a 500 tail fin and changed to PRO3D 335mm blades which I found for £11.

Lol, those 600 skids looks big.

I started with 500 sized skids on my 450 for xtra stability. Once I could fly and land OK, I resorted back to the original 450 skids. However, I was never really happy with them and put the 500 ones back on again as I always thought they looked better (although I do occasionally get some stick for them).

If it works for you, that's all that matters!
