Looking for people and good flying sites round Fair Oak / Colden Common area

First off, apologies if this post is in the wrong place.

I am a relative new comer to electric helis, I used to fly a Hirobo Shuttle about 20 years ago and have recently bought a Trex 450, which I can hover and fly round reasonably confidently. I have just bought a Trex 500 as the 450 is a handful in anything other than a light breeze (well it is with my skills!!!).
I have applied to all the local clubs I could find, and apart from one club near Fareham, didn't get very positive reponses. I don' mind travelling to get to a club, but in the meantime would just be happy to meet like minded people in the local area who could help me further my skills.
I look forward to hearing from any clubs / people interested.

There is a lot of politics surrounding flying in the area.

Im in Chandlers Ford, so very close by.

Your local clubs which allow heli flying are now Winchester and Positive Pitch.

Winchester have about a 2 year waiting list, and Positive pitch are very difficult to get hold of/ get into.

Firebirds used to allow heli flying, but this has now stopped (about 18 months ago) and I dont think there are plans to allow it again.

There is a club in fareham that is mostly scale (no 3d) which might be worth a look.

As you are only flying electric, there may be many other opportunities, but as I fly nitro I dont really know about them.

It may be worth taking a trip to 'mainly planes n trains' which is a model shop in chandlers ford. They have a notice board at the front with a lot of clubs having posters up. I havent taken much notice of them as they are electric only.
