+1 on that. I've just spent £80 quid on parts because one screw - holding the horn on the elevator servo - came off in flight on my 500.

Am i doing ok time wise then? I have a stopwatch that i start and stop, just to see the hours spent . When I built my Lancaster it took 213 hrs so its only a guide for the next one. . Yep I'm converted , never knew how much you guys put into this ! I understand now, what a rewarding build.

Excellent stuff :-) hope all goes well my current skill level still isn't as good as I expected, in 11 months I'm only just hovering a 450 nose in and working on circuits, not even thought about flipping it, although we didn't really get the weather last year and I really can't get on with a sim I'm better on the real thing than I am phoenix. So it will be a long time before I build something as nice as you have there. Nice heli and again hope all goes well

Have to agree about the sim. I went for the 500 due to it being easy to see. Also the fact I'm not in the financial position to go the conventional route of building up in size as I learn . If I'm honest I'm bricking it
