I haven't found getting parts for the SEV2 that difficult. Lots of the parts on 450s are common and most of the clones are SEV2s. If you already have a CP heli then all you have to do is make sure that the new one does the same. A pitch gauge is worth getting and then you can check your setup. You must have repaired your previous heli. I'm in Bracknell and have a SEV2 clone so you can check yours against mine if you want.

I've got a dx6i and its not a problem to program. Just seems difficult to begin with. Helis are difficult to begin with but like most things they get easier overtime. It is a waste of time to fly a heli unless you know its set up right. It's not that difficult to set one up from scratch but there is a lot to learn. The instructions tell you what to do. For the DX6i you can use the Blade 400 instructions in the Blade400 BNF manual. The servos are in a different place and so the swash mixing is different. If you want to know what to do you can start with the Blade400 manual as that comes with a DX6i and just ask when you get stuck. Don't be put off if it doesn't make sense to begin with just leave it a day and read again. Each time you read through you will understand a bit more. You can start off with swash mixing if you like. The way that three servos are used to control the swash.
