  • OK now I need some help please

OK I've been playing with the Sim, I've calibrated the BCX2 TX all the trims are centered, but every heli I try and fly rotates and drifts madly.

In the "edit your heli" where you have the slidy controls moving the rudder and cyclic and sorts to the right position calms down the surfaces, but as for the other pages full of adjustments I haven't a bloody clue.

Can someone please point me to a few settings and possibly explain how this changes the flight so at least I can have a starting point to work on.

As for flying I've managed now (while correcting for drifting) to lift hover fly round and come back for a soft landing with the Trex 600, with the practicing on the hover side of things mainly worked on, with slight stick adjustments to keep her true.

I have the head lock on and such but due to my complete lack of knowledge and only ever having flown and done all the adjustments on the BCX2 you can possibly do, at this level I'm back to square one.

    Please, please, please help.

Glad you mentioned it Camb Flyer. Have just been talking with Boggy on the same issue. Can't test it for real because I am still waiting for parts for the CX2, so will be interested to see what answers come up.

edit your heli setting has nothing to do with your transmitter mate. Have you calibrated it with all the sticks in the centre etc?

Yes I've done all that mate, plus in the advanced mode as well.

Basically any heli drifts to the left and forwards until I trim it out a bit on the TX.

I seem to get it half way there, then once I start making small adjustments to keep the heli stationary then it becomes to a point where it's impossible to keep it still anymore.

At the moment I only have the CX2 TX too use with phoenix, so I'm hoping when the DX6i arrives with the Blade 400 it'll work better being a better made TX.

And the reason he CX2 TX doesn't work too well is at the end of the day it's just a very cheap controller and can't by design do much of a job with the sim without showing it's true colours.

I don't know but I'm hoping this is the case.
