  • need help with my tister v2 guys!!

im back, was working for a few days there and no had much time to be on.anyway it was a nice day in scotland today and decided to take my twister v2 out for the first time.nice conditions etc.since i got the twister about a month ago it took me a while to set up the gain and pro on the 4-1 and i finnally got there.i can hover the twister np and today when i took it out to try and fly it it goes crazy on me! even in the house it hovers np but when i try to fly it backward forw etc it just losses control.the trim on my twister is one on the middle right(dont know what you call them soz,for backward and forward) almost all the way up.the trim on the bottom left(for the nose is all the way to the left and the bottom right trim for the drift is almost centre.my question is do i have to reset the 4 in 1 again or what do i do??? soz for all the info but im wanting to buy a esky belt cp as advised by matty but wasnt to try and get some practice first.thanks guys

hi andy - put the rudder trim on the remote in the middle. turn on remote and plug heli battery in. let it set itself. give it some throttle and see which way it turns. turn up th gain on the 4in1 and then unplug the battery. give it a few seconds and plug it back in. if its better but still turns the dothe same again. turn it up abit then unplug the battery again and then replug it back in.

if its worst and spins faster than b4 then do the same as above but turning the gain down.

try and get it to hold with the rudder trim on the handset in the middle. when you have got it as close as you can get it on the 4in1 gain then you can use the rudder trim for the very fine adjustment.

the trim for "driffing forward" wants putting in the middle aswell. then you want to adjust the angle of the servo horn/arm on the servo's to get the swash level and then it wont drift forwards or backwards in flight.

you useally pop the ball joint off the swash and screw/unscrew the the joint up or down the servo connector rods bit if i remember right then they are fixed on the twister v2 so your going to have to unscrew the servo horns, pull them off the servo, turn them whichever way and push them back on.

its same as the rudder gain - you want the servos set up with the trim in the middle and then when its set you can use the trims for very fine adjustment.

it will probably take you a few times to get it set.

it will drift if you try and take off slowly and you wont be able to trim it unless you get it at least 2 - 3 foot off the ground. then you will need to land it, adjust the trim that you want and then take off and test it again.

you will only be able to set the 4in1 gain trim on a full battery. when you fly it will go out of trim as the battery loses power and there is nothing you can do about this. its not worth trimming it again because of this - you just have to get used to it. ste it up on a full battery.

anything your not sure about - just ask
